Christ Church United Methodist

What Do We Teach?

We use both the Old Testament and the Gospels as the foundation for our faith and the inspiration for our daily lives. We put those teachings into practice at home and at work.

What Are Our Core Values?

Just as Jesus said in the Beatitudes, blessed are the poor and the hungry. Our mission is not just to love one another, but to make sure we spread the love of the Gospels everywhere.

Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

Christ Church is in a modern building that is completely handicap accessible. There is plenty of off-street parking in our parking lot. The sanctuary is air-conditioned. We also have an air-conditioned "cry room" for infants with a changing table, playpen, and plush toys. The room has piped in sound from the service and a window that looks out on the altar area. Sunday School for toddlers to teans. We have a coffee hour following the service.  The worship service, while generally using the hymns from the UM Hymnal, has a contemporary feel. Praise songs are included in every Service.  Communion is on the first and third Sunday of the month.  Our communion is open to all.  We use bread  and grape juice.
Church can happen anywhere.  It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can learn, play and build there lifelong relationship with God.. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier. And when our sacrifices help nourish students’ minds and bodies. That’s putting beliefs into action.
